Planning your wedding in L.A.? Don’t forget the glow.

Whether you're saying “I do” in Beverly Hills, Downtown L.A., the coast, or anywhere in between, one thing’s certain: you want to feel like your most radiant self. A custom spray tan is the perfect finishing touch, just enough glow to enhance your natural beauty without looking “fake tanned.”

Even though my studio is based in Downtown L.A., I work with brides from all over - Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Pasadena - who make the trip for a truly personalized bridal tan. If you're thinking about spray tanning for your wedding, here are a few must-know tips to help you glow confidently on your big day:

1. Do a Trial Tan First

If you can, book a trial spray tan 2–3 weeks before your wedding. It gives us the chance to customize your perfect shade, test the tone against your dress, and see how it wears over time. Bonus: it also takes the stress out of the final tan since you’ll know exactly what to expect.

2. Time Your Final Tan Based on Your Trial

After your test tan, check the color the next day in natural light while holding your dress (or something close in color) to your skin.

  • If you love the look on day 1, book your final tan the day before the wedding.

  • If it looks best on day 2, book it two days before.

That subtle timing makes all the difference in how your tan photographs and settles into the skin.

3. Prep and Aftercare Are Everything

A flawless tan starts with the right prep:

  • Exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment

  • Avoid oils, lotions, or deodorant the day of

  • Arrive with clean, dry skin and wear loose, dark clothing

After your appointment, stay moisturized and follow your rinse instructions closely to ensure your glow lasts all the way through the honeymoon.

4. Skip the Booth. Go Custom.

Your wedding photos are forever. A custom airbrush tan means your color is tailored to your skin tone, your dress, and even the lighting for your event. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference.
